Manchester United reject Scott McTominay bid from Premier League rivals

Manchester United have turned down a bid for Scott McTominay from Premier League rivals Fulham, although his future may still be away from Old Trafford.

The Scotland international has spent his entire career with the Red Devils but is once again being linked with a move away after coming close to leaving last year.

West Ham saw a bid of £30m for McTominay rejected in the summer of 2023 and Fulham have now seen an offer turned down during the current transfer window.

The Daily Mail report that the west London club put in a bid which was lower than the £30m the Hammers offered last year and the Red Devils have turned it down.

Galatasaray also hold an interest in the 27-year-old and it is possible that Fulham could return with a second bid for his signature.

McTominay was a surprisingly integral figure at Manchester United last season, having seemingly fallen down the pecking order but afforded more chances than expected due to injuries to his teammates.

The Scot made 43 appearances in all competitions over the last campaign, scoring a career high 10 goals. Despite this, the Red Devils are open to selling their academy product if the right bid comes in, although it will have to be at least £30m.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is wanted by West Ham

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is another Manchester United player who could be on the move this summer, with West Ham interested in the full-back.

The former Crystal Palace defender is into the final year of his contract at Old Trafford, after the club triggered an extension until next summer.

However, that means he could leave for free at the end of the season, so the Red Devils could cash in on him if a bid comes in, with the Englishman behind Diogo Dalot in the pecking order at right-back.

West Ham are considering a bid of £15m to test Manchester United’s resolve on the matter.
