Watch: Phoenix Suns’ Devin Booker Drops ‘Inspiring’ Take About Simone Biles

After securing her ticket to the 2024 Olympics , Simone Biles is preparing to make history on the global stage. In turn, Phoenix Suns All-Star and Team USA guard Devin Booker dropped an interesting take about the iconic gymnast.

Biles has qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics, leading a talented U.S. women’s gymnastics team eyeing redemption after a challenging 202

0 Tokyo Games. The most decorated gymnast in world championship history will be a driving force as the squad looks to regain the gold they surrendered in Tokyo.

Joining Biles on the 2024 Olympic team are Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, Hezly Rivera, and Leanne Wong. The team was selected at the U.S. Gymnastics Olympic Trials in Minneapolis, where the athletes delivered impressive performances across the different apparatuses.

Biles, who took a mental health break during the Tokyo Olympics, appears primed for a redemptive run in Paris. Her world-class routines on balance beam, uneven bars, and floor exercise will be instrumental as the U.S. team seeks to reclaim the top spot on the Olympic podium.

The depth and talent of this U.S. gymnastics squad have made them a favorite heading into the 2024 Olympics. With Biles leading the way, they are determined to bounce back from the challenges of Tokyo and cement their status as the premiere women’s gymnastics team in the world.

Phoenix Suns All-Star Guard Devin Booker Reveals Inspiring Take About Gymnast Simone Biles

Several Team USA members have expressed their thoughts about Biles, including four-time NBA champion LeBron James calling her super dope and Miami Heat’s Bam Adebayo wishing for a picture with the gymnast. For Booker, though, the decorated athlete’s performance this year is inspiring, as noted by an article posted by ESPN recently.

“It’s really inspiring,” Booker, who was part of the team at the Tokyo Olympics when the pandemic rules made it extremely difficult for athletes to attend other competitions, said. “That’s another thing I missed last go-round. I wasn’t able to watch any other events or see any other countries or anything. I’ll be there in full support if I have the time and the schedule matches up.”

Last season, Booker averaged 27.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 6.9 assists in the 68 games he played. This led the Suns star to another stint in the Olympics in this iteration of Team USA.

It remains to be seen whether Biles can make history in Paris soon. Nevertheless, expect Phoenix Suns’ star Devin Booker and other members of Team USA to support the gymnast in her quest for gold.
