Fitness a concern for Nadroga FC

When they play in the Digicel Fiji Premier League round 12 this weekend, Nadroga FC is determined to increase their level of fitness.

According to Kamal Swamy, Technical Director of the Stallion, this was the cause of their loss against Labasa last week.

He continues, saying that in order to beat Lautoka in their next game, players must put in a lot of effort and pull up their socks.

“We will give it our all because Lautoka is a formidable team and the reigning champs; we know how tough it is to play against them.”

A few players who were absent from the game the previous weekend are anticipated to play this week, according to Swamy.

With 14 points, Nadroga is presently ranked seventh in the Digicel Fiji Premier League standings.

This Sunday at Churchill Park, the two clubs will square off at 3 p.m.

On the same day and time, there will be three more DFPL matches: Tailevu Naitasiri vs. Rewa at Ratu Cakobau Park, Ba vs. Nasinu at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba, and Nadi vs. Navua at Prince Charles Park.

Suva will play Labasa on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Subrail Park.

The live commentary of the Suva vs. Labasa match can be heard on Mirchi FM.
