Analyst Says Cowboys Star Will Have ‘Hardest Year Of His Career’

The Dallas Cowboys may have everything riding on 2024.

Three of their best players in All-Pro quarterback Dak Prescott, All-Pro wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and All-Pro edge-rusher Micah Parsons are all entering contract years.

The team has won 12 games each of the last three regular seasons but has just one playoff win to show for it.

With the losses that this team has endured, especially on defense, 2024 could be their toughest year yet.

Fox Sports host Craig Carton believes this season will be especially tough for Parsons.

“This is going to be the hardest year of Micah’s career,” Carton said on The Carton Show.

Carton also referenced Parsons wanting the organization to go out and sign another defensive lineman earlier this offseason.

They did not do that.

This defense not only lost their defensive coordinator in Dan Quinn, but they lost other defensive linemen such as Dorance Armstrong, Dante Fowler, Neville Gallimore, and Johnathan Hankins.

Every offense knows that Parsons is going to be the focal point defensively.

After all, he has recorded over 40 sacks and nearly 90 quarterback hits in his first three seasons.

But when he doesn’t have the help around him, he might not be the same player.

But now that Parsons has made three consecutive All-Pro teams and with the lack of depth along the defensive line, 2024 could be a tough one for the former Defensive Rookie of the Year.
