WWE removes Chad Gable from Money in the Bank qualifier after Uncle Howdy attack

Chad Gable was seemingly left for dead at the end of this week’s (June 17) Raw when Uncle Howdy returned to WWE and his Wyatt Sicks group absolutely destroyed the backstage area.

Earlier in the night, Chad vowed to win this year’s Money in the Bank contract, and he was booked in a three-way qualifying match for next week’s episode against Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman. But after Gable was possibly murdered by Howdy, it seemed like WWE probably needed to pull Gable from the match.

That’s exactly what happened today, based on a graphic that aired during WWE Main Event. Gable was gone from the match and replaced by Ilja Dragunov. Strowman is still in there, so it’s possible the online detectives who thought they spotted his giant body among Howdy’s bloody wreckage were wrong.

Who do you think will win this match and qualify for Money in the Bank, and when will we see Gable again? Give me your predictions in the comments below, Cagesiders.
