Carlos Alcaraz, the three-time Grand Slam champion, is said to have signed a new long-term sponsorship agreement, indicating that he has officially committed to becoming Nike’s next tennis face.

The deal is anticipated to last for the next ten years, with Alcaraz earning between $15 and $20 million year. As Nike puts the 21-year-old as the face of its tennis business, the top-ranked player in the world of tennis is also anticipated to acquire his own unique emblem.

Before Federer left for Uniqlo in 2018, Nike created a special signature logo for its former tennis players, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. It is understandable why Alcaraz is being predicted to be the next great tennis player over the next ten years, given that Rafael Nadal appears to be getting closer than ever to calling it quits.

After winning his maiden Grand Slam championship at the US Open in 2022, the Spaniard became the youngest-ever ATP world number one. Alcaraz has since won the French Open in May of last year and the Wimbledon championship last year.

Because of Alcaraz’s early success, many people think he will take over as the face of tennis after Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal retire from the game, even though current ATP world number one Jannik Sinner will also get his own Nike trademark brand in 2021.

Preserving Alcaraz’s status as an athlete for Nike prior to this year’s Olympic Games and Wimbledon is crucial for the American sportswear company’s summertime business prospects.

Given that Alcaraz allegedly approved the Nike partnership prior to the French Open last month, Nike may be able to unveil the Alcaraz signature logo either to Wimbledon’s opening on July 1 or the start of the men’s tennis doubles in Paris on July 27.

At both tournaments, Alcaraz, 21, will be the centre of attention as he attempts to successfully defend the Wimbledon title he earned the previous year. In addition, Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal will team up for Spain in the tennis doubles at the Olympics. This will be Nadal’s last Olympics and a handoff between the two

Nike athletes.
