Erik ten Hag is not likely to be replaced by Mauricio Pochettino at Manchester United this summer.

Halfway through his two-year contract, the 52-year-old left Chelsea at the end of the season. Following the incident, the former Spurs manager has been connected to the Old Trafford position.

Pochettino was reportedly one of several candidates, along with Robert de Zerbi, Thomas Tuchel, Thomas Frank, and Gareth Southgate. Ten Hag, though, is still in command at United for the time being following a season that included an FA Cup victory against rival Manchester City and the team’s lowest-ever Premier League finish.

The Dutch manager is awaiting word on his future while Sir Jim Ratcliffe and United’s management conduct their post-season evaluation. The season’s last Red Devils game was played more than two weeks ago.

Man Utd lowers Jadon Sancho’s asking price as the winger indicates a desire to transfer.

Thomas Tuchel decides to join Manchester United following his meeting with Jim Ratcliffe.

According to reports, Pochettino would prefer to stay in the Premier League. His next transfer is reportedly “unlikely” to be with United, though.

It would imply that Ratcliffe’s options for potential coaches have shrunk. Tuchel met with the club’s owner and has already made the decision not to relocate to Old Trafford.

Should he take over at United, the German coach talked about intentions for Mason Mount and Jadon Sancho. Tuchel ultimately decided to take a vacation, even if the club makes an offer, after leaving Bayern Munich last month.

Erik ten Hag is awaiting word on his next course of action.

Sunday marked Pochettino’s return to Stamford Bridge, less than three weeks after he left. For Soccer Aid, the former PSG coach led a World XI team against England. Frank Lampard’s team defeated a group that included Petr Cech, Patric Evra, Michael Ession, Eden Hazard, and Usain Bolt, 6-3.

Ten Hag’s contract with United is still valid for another year. The former Ajax manager won the FA Cup and Carabao Cup during his two seasons in charge at Old Trafford, earning a domestic trophy each time.

At the end of the season, Ten Hag responded to a question regarding his future, saying, “I don’t think about this.” We are at the ideal point in our project, which I am working on.

Usain Bolt, who was brought off a stretcher during Soccer Aid, reveals a serious injury.

Cristiano Ronaldo and his incomprehensible teammate are scheduled to reunite in Saudi Arabia.

“We are building a team, and Man Utd was in disarray when I took over. We are now in the process of building a future-oriented team.

“You see, the team is winning, the team is progressing, and at the end of the day, it’s about winning trophies. There will be ups and downs.”
