The standout player for Tottenham, Richarlison, has reportedly been linked to a move outside of North London since he is not in Ange Postecoglou’s future plans.

The manager isn’t impressed with his present options and is eager to add a new striker who can immediately establish himself in his starting lineup.

After Harry Kane left Spurs for Bayern Munich in the summer of last year, Spurs never quite replaced him, and Richarlison hasn’t been able to convince Postecoglou that he is the answer.

After leaving Everton in 2022, the Brazilian international has made 66 appearances for Tottenham, but he has only scored 15 goals during that time.

A return to Brazil has also been mooted, and multiple sources have indicated that Postecoglou would be open to selling Richarlison this summer for the right price. He is also being pursued by numerous Saudi clubs.

The 27-year-old, whose contract expires in 2027, has no plans to travel outside of England this summer, including to Brazil or Saudi Arabia.

Richarlison responds to speculations of a Tottenham departure

Richarlison refuted rumours that he was considering leaving Tottenham in an Instagram post.

“In order to return healthy and prepared for the upcoming season, I forfeited my holiday and travelled to work in São Paulo.

“I never claimed I wasn’t happy at Tottenham, and all of the information regarding discussions that has been circulating in the local media is false.

“I’m not sure where they found that! Next season, I’m not going to leave England!

Richarlison appears determined to stick with the North London team and compete for a starting position, although as previously said, he will probably face more opposition.

As TEAMtalk has previously revealed, Tottenham is presently leading the battle to sign Feyenoord striker Santiago Gimenez because they are huge fans of him.

Along with Brighton’s Evan Ferguson, Spurs have also been connected to England internationals Dominic Solanke and Ivan Toney in recent weeks.
