Shipley was then informed by a reporter that he believed he saw the renowned golfer give him a message during the play.

Shipley looked straight at the green jacket that was moderating the interview and then firmly said, “No.” He didn’t.

The child then reiterated the claim before walking away.

Shipley disclosed everything during his interview on The Pat McAfee Show. After his spectacular debut, he had an incredible welcome home.

As it turns out, he was just a bundle of nerves, studying the teleprompter to learn his signals.

Shipley said, “I looked like a dumbass.”

As he put it: “I was really anxious. Saying anything foolish or cursing on national television was the last thing I wanted to do. I also tried to watch the teleprompter so I would know my cues so I wouldn’t talk out of turn. I appeared to be a fool!”

Shipley said, “After completing all of the presentations, I returned to our party house, drank a few IC Lights, and my family asked me if I had seen the memes of myself. What memes, I ask myself. What topic are you discussing?

“And for the next three hours, they start really roasting me!”
