Tottenham: The team signed a player who is regarded as one of the best in the world

Renowned Swedish football talent scout Peter Kisfaludy has been working with Djurgården for the past year and a half, helping the club develop its younger players and spotting potential recruits.

As part of his job there, he witnessed Lucas Bergvall’s development and the eventual transfer transaction, in which Tottenham secured a move that will see the 18-year-old come in London this summer.

Bergvall’s progress has been greatly aided by Kisfaludy, who thinks the upcoming Tottenham star will become one of the greatest players on the planet!

He gave this explanation in an interview with the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet: “I have had Lucas since November 2015, when he was nine years old. He has always had such extraordinary skill, and I’ve always felt that there is no stopping him and he can go as far as he wants. He will be among the top midfielders in the world in three or four years, when he is between the ages of 22 and 23. He will be among the top ten midfielders in the world.

It’s a big claim, and Tottenham supporters will be thrilled about it.

Although Bergvall appears to have an unending list of talents, Kisfaludy believes that one of his biggest assets is his mental toughness, which should come in handy when adjusting to the pressure of a Premier League transfer.

Kisfaludy even made the child’s weakness sound like a potential future strength when he was questioned about it: “He has a physique that he should use even more.” I believe he ought to grow harder and more combative.

The club representative said, “I knew all along that it would be Tottenham, because I talked to Dejan Kulusevski,” as justification for his unwavering belief that Bergvall would select Spurs. I sent him a note saying, “Take good care of Lucas; he’s coming down.” Dejan, who is only 24 years old, is amazing and has a ton of experience.

The Swedish media has consistently cited Dejan Kulusevski as a reason for selecting Tottenham, and that remains the case.

Kisfaludy thinks Bergvall will benefit from everything when he eventually joins the Spurs. The day is quickly approaching, and Tottenham supporters have many reasons to be happy about this decision.
