Over the past few months, Newcastle United has had to cope with the possibility of losing important players.

Although Newcastle did not really have to think about it at first following the PIF takeover, it became apparent as a possible issue during the January transfer window.

After all, it was reported that Kieran Trippier had consented to a transfer to Bayern Munich.

Fortunately, the club turned down every offer for him.

And lastly, Bruno Guimaraes.

The Brazilian, who is perhaps the PIF’s crown jewel, has been linked to leaving St. James’ Park on a regular basis because to rumours that his contract includes a £100 million release clause.

It was even reported earlier this week that Paris Saint-Germain was certain they will sign him in the summer.

Regretfully, there have also been recent rumors that another important player might leave.

Due to his incredible play this season, Alexander Isak has been linked to a move to Arsenal; however, he has dismissed rumors that he wants to leave Newcastle.

How much Arsenal believed they could spend this summer to acquire Alexander Isak

Journalist Joel Bland on X (previously Twitter) claims that the Gunners believed they could buy the 24-year-old this summer for a fee of approximately £90 million.

The player, though, is thought to be loyal to Newcastle, and the north London giants should be discouraged by his recent pledge to stay.

Additionally, it is said that Arsenal would need to sell in order to raise the money to acquire the striker.

Alexander Isak blowed Eddie Howe away.

Howe was so impressed with Isak that, after less than thirty minutes, he reportedly urged Newcastle’s recruitment department to go out and buy him. Howe was watching a video of Real Sociedad play Barcelona.

It is now thought that Howe wants to center his team around the forward.

Honestly, it seems absurdly low to sign him for under £90 million!
