Updates on Tottenham’s injuries: Van de Ven and Solomon’s most recent return dates

Before the international break, Tottenham had an awful weekend.

Ange Postecoglou’s team was hammered at Fulham, while Spurs secured their spot in the Premier League’s top four with their 4-0 victory away at Aston Villa last week.

While Postecoglou acknowledged Spurs lacked “competitiveness,” Captain Heung-min Son criticized his teammates’ “attitude” and “performance” at Craven Cottage.

During the international break, a large number of Postecoglou’s team will travel to represent their nations. Spurs will return to action at the end of this month when they play Luton.

In light of Micky van de Ven’s significant absence against Fulham, let’s take a look at the most recent Tottenham injuries.

Van der Ven Micky

With a hamstring injury, the defender had to leave the match versus Villa and so missed Fulham’s defeat.

After the international break, Postecoglou is optimistic that the Dutchman won’t miss much action.

On Friday, he remarked, “Micky, nothing too significant.”

“He will miss tomorrow, but we are pretty sure that he won’t miss much more because of the international break.” To be honest, I believe we took him off at the appropriate time.

Solomon Manor

summertime acquisition Manor Solomon has only managed six appearances so far this season and experienced a setback last month after having surgery on his right knee.

Just this month, Postecoglou stated that Solomon has not yet returned to team training.

Though he is still far from joining the group, Manor is making some progress. He still has some work ahead of him, he stated on March 1.

The backup goalie Fraser Forster is not likely to return until at least April due to a fractured foot.

Possible date of return: April/May 2024

The Ryan Sessegnon

After sustaining yet another hamstring injury, Ryan Sessegnon is anticipated to miss the remainder of the campaign. The full-back has expressed his shock at having to have surgery.

He posted on Instagram, saying, “I’ve been down this road before.”

“I’ll get back up, maintain my composure, and get started on my rehabilitation as soon as possible.

“Having been through an operation and the recovery on my other hamstring last year, and knowing how strong that hamstring is now, I know this is the best solution to put an end to the reoccurring issues.”

Date of potential return: unknown
