Crysencio Summerville sums up Leeds United star Archie Gray in one word

Cree Summerville has hailed Archie Gray for his outstanding performance for Leeds United on Sunday afternoon as the Whites defeated Millwall 2-0 to reclaim the top spot in the Championship.

Gray, who is playing for England’s U21 team during the international break, is just eighteen years old. Since making his debut on the first day of the season, he has played 41 games for the Whites across all competitions.

He can play right back or in midfield, and he has been a vital member of this Leeds team. Glen Kamara recently declared of Thorp Arch academy product Gray that he is just a “different breed.”

Though it wasn’t his best game against Millwall, it was still a great performance; they are the kinds of goals he has set for himself in 2023–2024. Gray posted on Instagram on Monday following the victory against Neil Harris’s team.

Praise from Crysencio Summerville Archie Gray, a talent for Leeds United, has been outstanding. While several new players have made an impression since joining the team in the summer, Gray has not felt like a permanent fixture. Not participating in the beginning, performing well under Daniel Farke.

Gray will have been a major factor if Leeds are promoted this season, which appears increasingly likely given Georginio Rutter’s comments regarding promotion following the victory over Millwall.

Alongside Charlie Cresswell, Gray will now play for the 21s in their upcoming two-week schedule of European qualifiers against Azerbaijan and Luxembourg. I hope he returns without any injuries.

Because Leeds will need to rely on their top players for the next eight games of the season, and Gray is undoubtedly one of them. Summerville called Gray a “goldenboy” in a comment on his Instagram post.
