After Nottingham Forest was docked four points, top journalist Henry Winter is quite worried that the Premier League this season would witness an unprecedented event.

It was yesterday afternoon that the Reds found out their fate. Forest now sits in 18th place in the Premier League as a result, and Evangelos Marinakis is anticipated to file an appeal.

After learning about the Forest incident, Winter became irate and vented his concerns on X, believing that the Premier League was in danger of witnessing an unprecedented circumstance.

Henry Winter believes that this season may bring forth an unprecedented circumstance.

It seems that Winter is worried about the circumstances surrounding Forest and the potential appeals procedure.

Marinakis is not pleased with the verdict, and it appears that Forest will file an appeal. But if he does, the Reds manager might destabilize the Premier League.

Winter is really worried about how quickly the appeal will be processed and whether another decision affecting Forest will be made.

“The Premier League season ends May 19,” he stated on X. PL states that the appeal hearing backstop date is May 24 (before to the AGM), assuming that Forest appeals the 4-point deduction for violating PSR. It takes time to appeal. There is a real risk that the relegation rankings won’t be decided until the season is over.

Forest must make a significant decision, and Winter is correct.

Everything about it is a farce. There will always be circumstances such as these since the Premier League ends these cycles in the middle of the season.

Winter’s comments suggest that Forest needs to make a significant choice regarding their appeal. But considering that things can’t really get any worse, it does feel like a bit of a free hit to make one.

In the end, Forest is no longer plagued by this on the field. To win games on the field, the Reds must now contain all of their annoyance and apply a siege mentality to their play.
