All day long,” according to Darren Bent, the £22 million Tottenham player is currently superior to Marcus Rashford

Heung-min Son of Tottenham Hotspur is someone who TalkSPORT analyst Darren Bent says he would prefer “all day long” over Marcus Rashford.

On his or her best day, both of the forwards are great athletes, but only one of them plays consistently. That’s the captain of Tottenham, and Bent was certain that Son would start in his team instead of Rashford.

Darren Bent states that Heung-min is preferable. Son above Marcus Rashford: In 2015, Tottenham paid just £22 million to acquire Heung-min Son from Bayer Leverkusen (Guardian).

The South Korean’s first season with the team wasn’t the best. In 40 games that season, he only scored eight goals and spent half of his time on the bench.

Son, though, has been fantastic for Tottenham ever since. There are not many attackers in the Premier League as good as him, making him one of their best players.

Darren Bent and Andy Goldstein engaged in a brief discussion over Son yesterday. Son is the captain of Tottenham.

Whom do you prefer to have? I have a quick inquiry for you, please respond. Bent questioned Rashford or his son on talkSPORT.

Bent was shocked that Goldstein chose the Manchester United player. He said, “Really, look at everyone here staring at you.”

The former Tottenham striker then said: “I’m taking Son all day long!”

Marcus Rashford Heung-min Son of Tottenham, United States

Heung-min Over the years, Son has participated in almost the same amount of games for Tottenham as Marcus Rashford has for Manchester United.

The ‘world-class‘ South Korean, in 397 appearances for Spurs, has scored 159 goals and provided 88 assists in all competitions. In contrast, Rashford has played in four less games than Son and has 130 goals and 74 assists in his career.

There is not much of a gap: Son has contributed 43 goals directly to the goal. However, the Tottenham man has come up with the goods for Spurs on so many occasions, and it’s a no-brainer that he is a better player than Rashford.

The Manchester United player does, however, have one advantage over Son: he is older by more than five years. Rashford will therefore have far superior statistics than the Tottenham captain when both players retire from the game.
