Exclusive: Tottenham has now prevailed in striking a magnificent £60 million agreement

If Pedro Neto decides to leave Wolves this summer, he wants to play in the Champions League, sources have told Football Insider.

On Monday, March 11, Football Insider disclosed that Liverpool and Spurs are two of the top teams considering a move for the 24-year-old winger.

The Portugal international is reportedly a top target for Newcastle, Manchester City, and Arsenal.

The Midlands club is thought to have little intention of obstructing Neto’s progress if their valuation is fulfilled this summer, as Financial Fair Play regulations remain a major worry at Molineux.

As reported by Football Insider on February 12th, Wolves is seeking offers for the former Lazio player that fall between £50 and £60 million.

How Tottenham might gain a “huge edge” in the Neto race this summer

On the other hand, reports claim that clubs will have a “huge edge” in the competition to acquire Neto if they qualify for the Champions League.

The athlete is rumored to be eager to push himself to the limit and even try to win the Premier League in the future.

Tottenham’s 4-0 road victory over Aston Villa on Sunday, March 10, marked a significant step towards a top-four finish.

Wolves Neto, who has a long-term deal that expires in June 2027, has recorded three goals and eleven assists in 23 appearances across all competitions this season.

Arsenal is prepared to face off against several other elite Premier League teams, including Spurs, this summer after previously exploring a deal for the winger in 2022.

Another story: a Tottenham player will miss a lot of time.
