The former Chelsea boss played a pivotal role in convincing Kane to join Bayern from Tottenham last summer for £82million.

According to German outlet Kicker, the England captain is believed to be disappointed by Tuchel’s imminent departure.

The report claims that Kane, who is a close ally of Tuchel, would have liked to have continued working under him.

However, Kane wants to avoid spreading any negativity and accepts the situation is part of football.

Tuchel has split opinion at Bayern following fallouts with Matthijs de Ligt and Joshua Kimmich.

But the 50-year-old has an army of high-profile allies within his squad including Kane, Manuel Neuer, Leroy Sané, Jamal Musiala, Raphael Guerreiro and Eric Dier.

Club chiefs made the decision to end their association with Tuchel following a run of three consecutive defeats in February.

Bayern were comfortably beaten 3-0 by title rivals Bayer Leverkusen before defeat in the Champions League round-of-16 first-leg clash against Lazio.

Bundesliga strugglers VfL Bochum were next to pile pressure on Tuchel with a 3-2 win over ten-man Bayern, five days later.

The Three Lions star has netted a staggering 30 goals in 25 league games and six in eight Champions League ties to cap off a fantastic first season in Bavaria.

Bayern are ten points adrift of leaders Leverkusen with just nine games left to play and appear unlikely to win their 12th-consecutive title this season.
