With a flawless hat-trick, Harry Kane helps Bayern Munich crush Mainz 8-1

With another hat-trick for Bayern Munich in an 8-1 rout of Mainz, Harry Kane has broken still more Bundesliga records.

Thirty-year-old Kane scored goals with his right foot, left foot, and header to complete his fourth hat-trick in the Bundesliga. Bayern, who are under pressure, were able to cut the deficit to just seven points against Bayer Leverkusen thanks to this.

Manager Thomas Tuchel is certain that his team will not lose up on winning the championship for an unprecedented 12th season in a row, even if he will be leaving soon. Thanks to Kane’s outstanding play, they remain in the game.

With 30 goals so far this season in the Bundesliga, Kane has joined German icon Uwe Seeler as the only players to accomplish this feat in their debut in Germany’s top division. With nine games remaining, Kane can now tie Robert Lewandowski’s record of 41 goals in a season.

According to the Mirror, Kane’s most recent hat-trick brings his total for Bayern goals in just 34 games across all competitions to 36. No player has ever scored four hat-tricks in their first season in the German top division.

Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer of Bayern commended Kane, saying: “We are aware of his ability to finish with both feet and his head.” He simply feels that way [about the aim]. He also works for the group.”

Although Leverkusen leads the league, Bayern hopes they will make a mistake because they have to play Wolfsburg next.
