Rafael Nadal withdraws from the Indian Wells Masters in 2024
According to the tournament’s official website, Rafael Nadal stated, “I have to withdraw from this amazing tournament with great sadness.” “Everyone is aware of my passion for Indian Wells and how much I like playing here. That’s also one of the reasons I arrived in the desert early in order to prepare and practice.”
“You all know I took a test this past weekend, and I have been practicing and working hard, but I don’t feel like I’m ready to play at the highest level at such a big event,” he continued.
“I can’t lie to the thousands of admirers and to myself—it’s not a simple decision—in fact, it’s a tough one. “I know the tournament will be a huge success, and I will miss you all,” he remarked.
Jenifer Capriati takes issue with Lindsay Davenport’s remarks regarding her deceased father.
“What I just heard about my father is unbelievable. I have to stop allowing my father’s memory to be defamed. A daughter could never ask for a more lovely, loving, kind, and supportive father than my father. Everyone adored and loved him.” On X, Capriati wrote.

I can’t believe what I just heard being said about my father. I can’t let my father’s memory be slandered any longer. My father was the most loving, kind, supportive, beautiful father a daughter could ask for. He was adored and loved by everyone.— Jennifer Capriati (@JenCapriati) March 7, 2024
