Djed Spence was acquired by Tottenham Hotspur from Middlesbrough for a hefty sum, but his performance at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has not been at its peak.
When Nottingham Forest got promoted from the Championship to the Premier League in 2022, Djed Spence was a vital member of the team.
This led to Tottenham Hotspur having to pay £20 million in transfer fees to Middlesbrough in order to get Spence (BBC Sport). During the 2021–2022 season, the right-back was on loan at Forest from Boro.
Spence hasn’t had a significant influence at Tottenham. The 23-year-old is currently on loan at Genoa in Italy following stints at Rennes and Leeds United.

In my opinion, Djed Spence has no future at Tottenham Hotspur.

The former Celtic manager would not have sent Spence out on loan if Ange Postecoglou truly felt highly of the player and believed he was good enough to play for his Tottenham squad.
Spence should, in my opinion, put his career elsewhere and stop worrying about playing for Tottenham.
