Leeds was fortunate not to sign a player for £6 million in January; he hasn’t played much for his new team.

 

 

When Leeds United was looking for a new right-back in January, a variety of right-sided players were connected to the team before Connor Roberts, on loan from Burnley under Vincent Kompany, was eventually signed.

 

Roberts has shown he was a wise acquisition. He scored in the 3-1 comeback victory over Leicester and then came off the bench to assist Patrick Bamford in the Huddersfield goal on Saturday.

 

The Wales player may receive his first league start when the Whites host Stoke City on Tuesday night. Archie Gray might relocate to the center of the park as Daniel Farke gives his players a break.

 

Given that Luke Ayling and Djed Spence are leaving, Roberts, who is on loan from Burnley, has shown to be a respectable addition. It might have transpired differently. Leeds was rumored to be interested in Calvin Ramsay of Liverpool.

 

Some were also connected, such as Daiki Hashioka, who signed with Luton. However, Ramsay was searching for a loan since his time at Preston came to an early end due to injury, which limited the Scotland player to only two North End outings.
