“I have heard of someone,” Romano says, providing an intriguing update on Tottenham’s potential transfer target

After Ange Postecoglou took over as manager, Tottenham’s roster saw a major overhaul, with large purchases made during the previous two transfer windows.

Spurs have added €272.1 million to their roster over the summer, according to Transfermarkt data. Notable additions include James Maddison, Pedro Porro, Micky van de Ven, Dejan Kulusevski, Radu Dragusin, and others.

Tottenham has already started identifying possible targets in preparation for the summer transfer market, which will allow them to bolster their roster even further.

Finding a winger is a primary priority for the North London team, and Pedro Neto of Wolves is one of their main targets.

Reputable Italian transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano has revealed Tottenham’s intense interest in Neto, adding that the Molineux Stadium star is anticipated to leave at the end of the current campaign.

In an interview with The Here We Go Podcast, Romano provided details about Tottenham’s interest in Neto, saying:

“The price tag for Pedro Neto has not been disclosed by the Wolves, but sources feel that he will likely join a major club in the summer.

“He’s been on a lot of teams’ lists lately. Arsenal really liked him a few years ago, and then Liverpool and other teams began to follow him.”

“I’ll include Tottenham since I’ve heard that there is a member of the team who really admires Pedro Neto’s abilities.

“There’s a lot of interest, so we’ll have to wait and see, but the Portuguese winger will undoubtedly be among the summer’s biggest names.”

Neto has a contract with Wolves that expires in June 2027, but if a sizable offer is made in the summer, reports indicate that the English team would consider selling Neto.

With two goals and nine assists in 18 games this season, the 23-year-old winger has shown off his skill in the Premier League. According to Fbref, he ranks fourth in the division for assists.

In addition, Neto further cemented his reputation as a premier player last month at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a brilliant solo run that set up Joao Gomes. for the game-winning goal.
