Son Heung-min, a forward for Tottenham Hotspur, gave Brennan Johnson high marks following Saturday’s 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace.

On Saturday afternoon, Tottenham triumphed at home once more, but this time it was not without difficulty.

Eberechi Eze scored a spectacular free kick past Guglielmo Vicario, the Spurs goalkeeper, to give Palace the lead.

Tottenham had to respond, and they succeeded when Timo Werner scored the team’s opening goal.

After that, Cristian Romero gave Spurs a 2-1 lead. Then, captain Son Heung-min quickly made it 3-1 to seal the three points.

Tottenham was having trouble breaking down Palace, but Brennan Johnson’s entry appeared to alter the course of the match.

Rodrigo Bentancur was replaced by Welshman Johnson off the bench, forcing Dejan Kulusevski into midfield.

Johnson forced Joachim Andersen to give up the ball, overcame two obstacles, and set Werner up for a goal.

After that, Johnson pushed the ball through so Son could reach the net, giving him two assists in under thirty minutes of play.

Johnson, a high-profile addition from Nottingham Forest, has shown mixed results this year.

However, Tottenham needed to witness this kind of game-changing impact, as we know how excellent Johnson can be.

As of right now, Captain Son has admitted to Football London that he genuinely loves Johnson and wants to help him get better.

Before making a prediction, Son felt that Johnson would “make the difference” against Palace and was proven to be correct.

Son thinks that Johnson, the captain of Tottenham, is “definitely” going to start scoring goals on a regular basis and that they are just around the corner.

“This man, you know I like him. I adore this man,” Son exclaimed. “All I want to do is support him as much as I can. I told him to be ready because he would make a difference even when we started the game. You’ll make a difference when you get on, and we need that,” he remarked.

“Brennan did an amazing job, and I would just like to hug him so much.” Although he is plainly lacking the goals, he continued, “I am 100% certain that the way he works, the goals will come automatically.”

Although Johnson has only scored three goals in the Premier League for Tottenham this year, six assists is still a respectable total.

The 22-year-old should feel quite confident since he has Son’s support, as evidenced by his spectacular cameo on Saturday.
