A touching exchange between Heung-min and James Madison Son following the last whistle
At the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Spurs defeated Crystal Palace 3-1 thanks to an outstanding comeback.
Even though they let up an incredible free kick by Eze just after the hour, the Lilywhites made a comeback in the last 15 minutes thanks to goals from Timo Werner, Cristian Romero, and Heung-min Son.
A touching encounter between Son and Maddison—both of whom were substituted toward the conclusion of the game—was caught on camera after the game.
Following the final whistle, Maddison and Son got up from the bench and signed fan jerseys behind them while Maddison playedfully tugged on Son’s jacket.
