Incredible moments as two late goals from Werner and Romero shift the tide of the match. How wonderful a return

Once again, late in the game, two fast goals by Spurs have reversed the tide.

Eze’s stunning free kick gave Palace the lead, but Spurs, who have done so frequently this season, scored twice in the final three minutes to reverse the tide of the match.

Timo Werner, who had wasted a clear opportunity in the first half, made amends in the 77th minute with a well-taken goal.

Brennan Jonson on the right did a fantastic job of getting past the defenders and blasting the ball across the goal, where Werner was waiting for him at the back post to sweep it in.

And three minutes after that, James Maddison’s tease of a cross was headed in by Cristian Romero to tie the score.
