Full-time ratings for Spurs vs. Crystal Palace: another victory and a significant comeback

 

After the final whistle of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium’s Premier League match versus Crystal Palace this afternoon, here is our rating of the players.

 

With goals from Timo Werner, Cristian Romero, and Heung-min Son, Spurs pulled off a spectacular comeback to win 3-1 today, despite Ange Postecoglou’s team falling behind in the second half due to a free-kick from Eberechi Eze.

 

Guglielmo Vicario Couldn’t stop Eze’s incredible free kick. For the remainder of the game, not much needed to be done. 7.

 

Emerson Royal: In the second half, everything went well for Spurs, and Royal never stopped moving forward and participating. did not accomplish anything, but it was a good show. 6.

 

With 10 minutes remaining, Cristian Romero was strangely the player closest to the goal, but he was rewarded with a well-placed header that gave Tottenham the lead. 7.

 

Micky van de Ven: The Dutchman had a quiet afternoon overall, despite making a few good clearances and interceptions. 6.

 

Destiny Udogie: Given that he had just returned from injury, it’s possible that he had a relatively quiet second half. 6.

 

Yves Bissouma: Bissouma gave a really effective and composed performance today. Nothing particularly noteworthy, but the midfield player controlled the game’s flow and maintained Spurs in the lead the entire time. 7.

 

Rodrigo Bentancur: Disallowed the free kick which resulted in the goal for Palace. was replaced after sixty minutes. He isn’t himself at the moment, for sure. 5.

 

James Maddison: Had been threatening to score at one point, and he turned the tide of the match with a brilliant ball into the box that allowed Romero to score. Ten minutes left, Hojbjerg took his position. 8.

 

After Johnson was introduced, Dejan Kulusevski moved to the center of the field, but he was still unable to make a significant impact on the game. 5.

 

Timo Werner: After missing another opportunity early in the second half, he eventually scored the team’s first goal to tie the score and give Spurs a chance thanks to an assist from Brennan Johnson. With ten minutes remaining, taken off. 6.

 

Heung-min Son: Had a much livelier appearance and scored early in the half at the base of the post. exhibited excellent footwork to set himself up for a chance that narrowly missed. was obviously going to score, and with a stunning late-game finish, put the result beyond doubt. 8.

 

Brennan Johnson: On the hour mark, he took Bentancur’s place and missed a sitter with his first touch. amazingly recovered, though, and put in a ton of effort to set Werner up for the goal. was also a part of Son’s objective. 8.

 

Emile Pierre Hojbjerg: Just kept the midfield calm by playing the consistent balls. Performed admirably for a quick yet impactful cameo. 6.

 

Pape Sarr: Although he looked lively and made some great forward runs with the ball, it was always going to be tough for him to make an impact on the game in just ten minutes of play. 6.

 

Giovani Lo Celso: Came on late to take Bissouma’s place, but he was pressed for time. Not at all.

 

Dane Scarlett: Swapped out Son arrived late, leaving little time for important tasks. Not at all.
