Shortly after leading police on several fast-paced pursuits, 24-year-old Jared Anderson was taken into custody in Michigan on Thursday, according to officials.

 

According to the Huron Township Department of Public Safety report, Anderson, a heavyweight from Toledo, Ohio, fled from police three times, reaching speeds of 130 mph, before smashing his Dodge Challenger into a median on northbound I-275 at approximately 1:36 p.m.

 

In addition to posting a $10,000 personal bond and being arraigned by Wayne County Third Circuit on Saturday, Anderson was also prohibited from driving, regardless of his license status, unless it needed to get to and from court.

 

Anderson faces a maximum five-year prison sentence, a $1,000 fine, and a one-year driver’s license suspension if found guilty. His next scheduled appearance is for a probable cause hearing at the 34th District Court in Romulus, Michigan, on March 13.
