According to Corriere dello Sport, an Italian publication, Tottenham Hotspur is apparently moving to capture Adrien Rabiot, a standout player for Juventus, this summer.

The North London team has been linked to a few names recently, suggesting that they have been looking at signing a new midfield player.

Conor Gallagher, a star for Chelsea, has been mentioned as the Lilywhites’ top target, although Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly desperate to cling onto him.

Rabiot is suddenly emerging as a viable option, suggesting that Tottenham has begun to prepare backup plans in case they are unable to sign the Englishman.

The 28-year-old is nearing the end of his current contract, but he hasn’t decided to extend with Juventus yet. Thus, rumors about his future have begun to circulate, and it appears Spurs are trying to sign him by taking advantage of his circumstances.

According to Sport Witness, who translated and cited the print edition of Corriere dello Sport, Tottenham is reportedly interested in signing Rabiot and has begun preparations to entice him to the recently refurbished White Hart Lane this summer.

Tottenham to Rabiot

The 28-year-old may be enticed to play in the Premier League in an attempt to convince the North London team to sign him.

But according to the source, Bayern Munich is also interested in signing him, therefore Tottenham will have a difficult time securing a deal with the record Bundesliga winners.

Rabiot, who Transfermarkt values at approximately £34 million, is a flexible player who can be used anywhere in the middle of the park. He can play weaving passes between the lines, is strong and lively, contributes effectively defensively, and works very hard even when he doesn’t have the ball.

Over the past few years, the midfielder has demonstrated his exceptional talent at the top level of play. So, if the Lilywhites were to get him before the upcoming season, it would be a huge coup.

If the former Paris Saint-Germain player decides to leave Juventus at the end of this season, it would be intriguing to see if Tottenham is able to sign him in the end.
