“Three points”: £7 million A West Ham player promises that tomorrow they will defeat Everton

Before the Hammers’ Premier League matchup against Everton on Saturday, one of the team’s players has made a daring prediction.

 

The Toffees’ previous match ended in a late equalizer by Brighton and Hove Albion, meaning Sean Dyche’s team is still searching for their first victory of 2024.

 

The Hammers seem a little inconsistent coming into Goodison Park, despite their impressive 4-2 victory over Brentford on Monday night.

At Everton, Michail Antonio assures West Ham of three points.

Speaking on the BBC’s The Players channel podcast, Michail Antonio said he could only see the opposition winning three points.

 

“The games we have played with them have always been challenging. He is very strict under Sean Dyche and seldom gives up goals,” he stated.

 

The 33-year-old thinks David Moyes’ team will be significantly impacted by Lucas Paqueta’s comeback.

 

“We have won most of our games when Lucas [Paqueta] has been on the team, and I feel confident that the gaffer has his main team back,” he continued.

 

“That only seems to be three points to me.”

Although Everton has moved out of the bottom three, a victory is still needed to calm the rising tension at Goodison Park.

 

Whether Amadou Onana or Idrissa Gana Gueye will start on Saturday is still up in the air according to Sean Dyche. It’s thought that both players are dealing with a groin issue.

 

“He (Gueye) is still getting settled in,” Dyche said to the press on Thursday. “Amadou has a similar groin issue to Gana’s that is just starting to go away, so tomorrow we’ll make more of a decision on them.”

 

It will be fantastic to have Onana back on the field frequently. The Belgian’s strength at both ends of the field may be able to ease Everton’s goal-scoring problems.

 

The supporters of Goodison Park are getting impatient with the lack of cutting-edge. Beto and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, for example, must take the initiative. It appears that neither player is capable of providing Dyche’s team with goals on a regular basis.
