It’s possible that Spurs would sell the player barely a year after they signed him, according to a journalist

It’s not entirely out that Spurs will sell the player barely a year after they signed him, according to journalist Bharad Thirumalai.

Dan Kilpatrick has stated that it is not impossible for Tottenham to make money off of Manor Solomon in the upcoming summer.

Solomon has not kicked a ball since he injured his meniscus at the beginning of October, after showing some signs of promise in his opening few games of the season. The winger experienced a setback last month while recovering from the injury.

According to multiple sources, the 24-year-old is now said to be getting close to being fully fit, and he may soon resume training (Football.London).

With so many options available to Ange Postecoglou, especially since Timo Werner’s arrival last month, the Israeli international may have a difficult time breaking back into the starting eleven.

According to multiple reports in recent days, the Lilywhites are said to be prioritizing the signing of a top-tier winger in June. Ebereche Eze of Crystal Palace and Pedro Neto of Wolves are rumored to be on their shortlist (Independent).

Kilpatrick thinks Solomon might be the one sacrificed if Tottenham decides to deploy more manpower to their broad areas.

On The Tottenham Way Podcast, the journalist stated: “He (Solomon) was a free transfer.” To get him from Shakhtar in those circumstances was a cunning or devious move.

“The Spurs would profit whatever they sell him for, if they decide to sell him at all. It would be shrewd business on his part, and if they acquire a few wingers in the summer, which is very much a possibility, I don’t think that option can be ruled out.

I believe that Solomon may be dismissed too soon by a lot of Spurs supporters. He is maybe the best take-on specialist the team currently has, so when he returns to full condition, he could wind up having a significant part.
