Following the purported release of investigative material, the Red Bull team principal reiterates his denial of inappropriate behavior

Following the disclosure of materials allegedly representing evidence from the investigation, Christian Horner, the principal of the Red Bull Formula One team, has reiterated his rejection of any inappropriate behavior charges.

Red Bull GmbH, the F1 team’s parent corporation based in Austria, exonerated the 50-year-old on Wednesday of any wrongdoing.

He had been under investigation for allegedly acting inappropriately with a female coworker.

In a statement, Horner stated, “I have always denied the allegations, but I won’t comment on anonymous speculation.”

“I completely cooperated with the independent investigation at every stage, respecting its objectivity.

“An independent specialized barrister carried out a comprehensive and impartial inquiry, which resulted in the complaint being dismissed.

“I remain fully focused on the start of the season.”

Throughout the process, Horner has refuted the charges, and last week he was in Bahrain for the team’s pre-season testing and the introduction of their 2024 vehicle.

On February 9, he had been questioned by a lawyer for eight hours.

Information from an unknown email account that purports to represent the investigation’s supposed proof has been released to multiple media outlets and F1 team principals regarding Horner’s actions.

Red Bull affirms the complaint was dropped.

Red Bull released a statement stating: “Red Bull can announce that the grievance has been rejected, and the independent examination into the charges made against Mr. Horner is complete.

It is the complainant’s right to file an appeal. Red Bull is certain that the inquiry was conducted in an impartial, thorough, and fair manner.

“We will refrain from providing any additional comments out of respect for all parties involved, as the investigation report is secret and includes the private information of the parties and third parties who assisted in the inquiry.

“Red Bull will continue striving to meet the highest workplace standards.”
