Recent sources claim that Tottenham star Heung-min Son is ready to turn down offers from Saudi Arabia to stay with the North London team.

There have been rumors that Son would make a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia, with Al Ittihad purportedly considering a summer raid for him and Mo Salah.

Recent events, nevertheless, seem to indicate that Son is likely to stick with Spurs.

According to rumors earlier this week, the club intends to start formal contract negotiations with the South Korean international after having already held informal talks.

Furthermore, according to Pete O’Rourke of Football Insider, Son wants to remain with the team.

According to reports, the player wants to be involved in the Spurs project led by Ange Postecoglou and is delighted with it.

It continues by saying that Son has informed his friends that he believes he is at the pinnacle of his profession and will decline the “huge” Saudi offers.

Son has made a huge impact at Tottenham.

Son has been a staple for Spurs since joining from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015. In 395 games, he has amassed an incredible 157 goals and 86 assists.

After Harry Kane left for Bayern Munich in the summer, Son assumed captaincy and has since shown great leadership qualities, becoming the main man for Tottenham under Ange Postecoglou.

For this reason, the manager would greatly benefit from his contract renewal.
