Report: Due to an injury, a Tottenham player has missed every day of practice this week

The prospects of Pedro Porro playing this Saturday against Crystal Palace are not looking good, as the full-back has not been in training this week according to a report.

This season, Pedro Porro has played a significant role for Spurs under Ange Postcoglou. The Spaniard has shown to be the ideal full-back for the Ange-ball style.

In addition to being a steady presence in the back, Porro has emerged as one of Postecoglou’s team’s most significant creative assets with eight assists and a goal this season (Transfermarkt).

When Porro was sidelined by injury during the Spurs’ most recent game, his significance became even more apparent. Emerson Royal replaced Porro in the Spurs loss to Wolves, but he fell well short of the required level.

Will Pedro Porro be able to play against Palace?

Regarding Porro’s availability to play versus Palace this weekend, it has been up in the air; nevertheless, The Standard earlier reported that he might be able to return.

But according to a recent update from the same source, Porro’s prospects of making the squad for Saturday’s game are not looking good.

Porro, regrettably, “is yet to return to work with the group” this week, according to reports.

Spurs  Views

This is a major setback since he is currently one of our most important players, and I don’t think Emerson Royal can provide the same level of playmaking, either on defense or offense, as Porro can. With any luck, Royal can pull off just enough to win this next game so Porro can return for the crucial Villa match.
