Yesterday afternoon, German outlet Sport Bild reported that Newcastle are considering a summer move for Julian Nagelsmann, who currently manages the German national team.
The Mail’s Craig Hope has responded to these rumours, revealing that it was ‘reiterated’ to him on Wednesday evening that Eddie Howe is going absolutely nowhere.
According to the North-East reporter, Newcastle’s message is that they are fully invested in Howe, believing he is the man to take the club forward in the long term.
Despite talk from the German media that Nagelsmann is being lined up, Hope insists that Toon chiefs are already planning for a ‘busy summer’ with Howe at the helm.
