A journalist expresses Dragusin’s frustration at not getting many starts at Tottenham

According to Jack Pitt-Brooke of The Athletic, Radu Dragusin is OK with his circumstances at Tottenham Hotspur and realizes he will have to wait to get into the starting lineup.

Dragusin knew he would have his work cut out for him trying to make an impression on the Spurs roster, especially with the formidable connection that Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven had developed this season.

The Romanian has had to look on patiently from the bench since Ange Postecoglou’s team only plays one game a week at the present. He has made three appearances thus far, entering the game as a late substitution (Transfermarkt).

Earlier this month, Romanian publication Pro Sport questioned whether, should the defender at Tottenham continue to struggle for playing time, he will be less match sharp going into the summer’s Euros.

Radu Dragusin is content with his patience at the Spurs.

Dragusin’s agent, Florian Manea, stated to Fanatik (via Playsport) last week that the 22-year-old will eventually have a chance when questioned about his client’s circumstances.

Regarding the former Genoa star, Pitt-Brooke stated on The View From The Lane podcast: “Dragusin was a fantastic player in Italy and I gather he’s pretty relaxed about the situation.” He is aware that Tottenham’s schedule is light this season, which will present possibilities for a variety of players.

Dragusin will immediately start playing as soon as any of the two center backs—who are presently playing well, established, and not suspended—stop being the case. He is entering a new league.

Spurs  Views

Since Van van Ven has been one of our finest players this season and Romero is one of the leaders of the current Tottenham team, I do not see Dragusin’s situation altering anytime soon, barring an injury.
