Doctor: A new ailment has ruled out Tottenham player for the full season

Dr Rajpal Brar reports that Ryan Sessegnon, a defender for Tottenham, will miss 12 weeks of action and be out for the remainder of the season.

According to the injury expert, there are instances when surgery is the only course of action, as was the case with the English full-back.

The 23-year-old revealed his surgical procedure in a statement, which was verified by Spurs.

Dr. Brar, a sports scientist and physical therapist, spoke exclusively with Tottenham News about the current state of play with Sessegnon.

“He was dealing with a hamstring ailment from the previous year, and now he’s taken a hit on the other side.

Surgery appears to be the only choice in some circumstances, as Sessegnon’s case illustrates.

“He will miss the remainder of the season as he will be out for more than 12 weeks.”

“It’s crucial that he takes his time returning because, despite playing sparingly this season, he was already lacking in match sharpness.”

Sessegnon will battle for Tottenham after his comeback.

Although the Englishman’s latest injury absence will be devastating, he has shown that he is prepared to battle for his future.

His contract at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium expires in the summer of 2025, but given his injuries, it’s possible he won’t be traded by June.

He might request a loan or a permanent move away, though, if he is determined to play and there are teams eager to sign him.

Having said that, the priority will now be to make sure he looks for himself and gets well enough to recover.

At the moment, the Spurs also have injuries to Pedro Porro, Fraser Forster, Manor Solomon, and Destiny Udogie.

In other Tottenham news, a member of the first team has been called “Absolutely brilliant” for a recent performance.
