Oh no: Saudi club is now preparing to get in touch in case they want to move for the “outstanding” Tottenham player.

Spurs fans would prefer not to experience the same fate with another elite player this summer after losing Harry Kane to Bayern Munich in the summer of last year. Nevertheless, rumors indicate that scenario is now conceivable, as Saudi Arabian teams are reportedly preparing to contact about a specific talent

Pedro Porro for the Reds.

Tottenham is now looking to sign a “sheer pace” Pedro Porro substitute.

Nevertheless, any gains made in North London this season could be swiftly derailed by another significant departure. The attention should instead be on the new players and who could be able to assist the Lilywhites in making that all-important move back into the Premier League’s top four. That seems to be the idea as well, based on reports, as Spurs have already been linked to moves for players like Jarrad Branthwaite in preparation for this summer.

However, it might be the last of the good news. Rudy Galetti claims that Saudi clubs intend to get in touch this summer to discuss a deal for Heung-min Son. Galetti announced the story on X, writing:

Given that some players in Saudi Arabia have made high-profile transfers in the past several years, those in that country are also probably not going to be afraid to spend huge money to sign Son.

Spurs need to hang on to “outstanding” Son Son’s performance figures demonstrate that, despite being 31 years old, he is more than capable of playing at this level. With 12 goals and 6 assists so far this season, the South Korean will undoubtedly contribute to Spurs’ hopes of finishing in the top four.

Heung-min Son gives Tottenham a cheer.

Postecoglou, who complimented his captain and expressed awareness of the trait as well, said:

Both as a player and a leader, he has excelled. Now that I’ve moved him to the nine position, he works incredibly hard. Sonny is spearheading that fantastic environment with Madders (James Maddison) and (Cristian) Romero, as I mention with the players.”

In terms of leadership in North London, however, it would be less than ideal for Postecoglou to take over after losing two captains in two seasons, which makes Son even more of a priority.

Spurs can only hope that Son chooses to stay in North London as part of Postecoglou’s project rather than becoming the latest player to jump ship and join Saudi Arabia when the summer transfer window finally opens. The Lilywhites may experience anxiety this summer due to the possibility of yet another significant departure.
