Autumn will see the opening of Northern Ireland’s newest five-star hospitality establishment.

The newest five-star hotel in Northern Ireland is set to open in the fall.

This autumn, Dunluce Lodge, the newest five-star hospitality resort in Northern Ireland, will open in advance of the 153rd Open Championship, which will return to Royal Portrush Golf Club in 2025.

The resort will have 35 opulent suites, as well as a private lodge with eight suites, private dining, and a fireplace area for guests alone.

Golf Courses

Renowned golf architect Martin Ebert created the on-site putting green at Dunluce Lodge. Free private shuttles are also provided to the Royal Portrush and Portstewart Golf Club clubhouses, as well as the neighboring helipad.

The property will feature a fitness center with the option for a massage, steam room, or stretching session, in addition to a small, cozy spa.

Collection of Links

In collaboration with the US-based owners, Links Collection, Dunluce Lodge will be managed by Valor Hospitality Partners, a full-service hotel management business operating globally.

The five-star boutique hotel Seaton House in St Andrews, which is scheduled to open later this year, is another product of this partnership.

Dunluce Lodge has named Stephen Meldrum general manager.

“Superior innate beauty”

Global co-founder and CEO of Valor Hospitality Partners Euan McGlashan remarked, “It is a thrill to be working on this incredible project in such an area of outstanding natural beauty and on the edge of such an iconic golf course.”

“Our amazing owners have been deeply involved in every aspect of the design, making sure that their passion for Northern Ireland, golf, and hospitality is reflected in Dunluce Lodge, which will proudly stand as the only five-star hotel in the area.”

Dining In the restaurant, wine room, or private dining areas, The Lodge will serve à la carte meals and tasting menus.

The ocean and golf course will be visible from the restaurant and bar. All around the property, guests will be able to savor a variety of craft beers, wines, and whiskeys.

The Giant’s Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, country sports, and many other unique experiences available on the Causeway Coast are just a few of the guided and carefully selected experiences available to visitors.

According to Stephen Meldrum, general manager of Dunluce Lodge, “when it opens later this year, it will set a new standard as the definitive five-star location on the Causeway Coast.”

“Overlooking the fourth fairway at Royal Portrush Golf Club and facing the wild Atlantic Ocean, our location speaks for itself.”
