‘A fantastic team’: the £51 million player has now said that ‘Tottenham are interested’ in signing him

Loic Bade, a defender for Sevilla, seems to have confirmed Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in signing him this summer.

By acquiring Radu Dragusin from Genoa last month, Spurs bolstered their defense. Another center defender would be helpful for Ange Postecoglou’s team, and Bade has all but confirmed that Tottenham wants him.

“Tottenham are interested” in signing Loic Bade, he reveals.

Tottenham’s defense could still use more work, despite their significant improvement from the previous campaign.

Although both Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero are amazing, adding a player to push them after Radu Dragusin will only be beneficial.

Loic Bade of Sevilla is one of the several defenders whom Spurs have been connected to in recent months. He was apparently seen by Ange Postecoglou as a backup plan last month when Bayern Munich attempted to sabotage Spurs’ agreement to purchase Dragusin.

Now that all the rumors have been handled, Bade seems to be confirming that “Tottenham are interested” in signing him in the summer.

There is some satisfaction, he said to Estadio Deportivo. The reason a top team like Tottenham is interested is that you perform well.

However, there are other things that advise you to keep your cool, work hard, and focus on your games.

Bade went on to say in the same interview that he likes Sevilla and would be content to stay for the next 20 years.

“I enjoy the city; I feel extremely comfortable here. I will stay here for twenty years if necessary. I feel really at ease,” he remarked.

Loic Bade Tottenham

Since last year, Tottenham has been keeping an eye on Bade.

In the first part of the previous season, Loic Bade spent a dismal six months with Nottingham Forest, but he never saw the field.

He went on loan to Sevilla in January of last year, and after agreeing to a four-year contract there that is covered by a £51 million (€60 million) release clause (ED), the move became permanent in the summer.

Tottenham was rumored to be interested in signing Bade before that occurred last summer, and the Frenchman sparked interest in the club again last month.

It appears like Spurs are still interested in signing him, so it would be interesting to watch if they try to get him during the next summer transfer window.
