Guglielmo Vicario calls Tottenham’s young player, who is already among the greatest in the world, “unbelievable.”

Destiny Udogie, a teenage left-back for Tottenham Hotspur, has been called “one of the best” in the world by Guglielmo Vicario.

Having officially joined Ange Postecoglou’s team over the summer, Destiny Udogie has had a fantastic first season at Tottenham.

The Italian full-back played the following season on loan at his former club after being originally signed by Udinese for a meager £15 million in the summer of 2022.

It’s safe to say that Udogie has adapted to Premier League life really easily and has become an indispensable member of Postecoglou’s team very soon.

Guglielmo Vicario, who believes Udogie is already one of the top left-backs in the world, is undoubtedly a fan of his countryman.

Vicario claims Udogie is among the greatest in the world.

Speaking with FourFourTwo, Vicario gushed about Udogie and asserted that the young player is already very talented.

The Italian goalie for Spurs remarked, “We have a great relationship because we spend a lot of time together at the training ground.”

He has a lot of promise, so I try to encourage him to put in more effort and perhaps even accompany me to the gym in addition to training. He still has a lot to learn.

He’s among the top left-backs in the world, not just in the Premier League. I try to push him, but he must have the will within him to do better every day considering he is only 21.

“He’s a very good boy, an amazing player, and he has everything it takes to be at the top: he’s quick, has excellent technique, can play both defense and attack, he’s got it all.”

Udogie has the ability to rank among the top left backs in world football, even though he may not yet be world-class.

To put it mildly, the initial indications of his Spurs career have been positive. The 21-year-old has made 21 Premier League appearances this season and has contributed five goals.

When he arrived as a wing-back, there were questions about his ability to play as an inverted full-back.

To Udogie’s credit, though, he’s adapted to his new position really swiftly, and you would think there is still much space for growth.
