After losing to Wolves 2-1 at home earlier today, Tottenham fell to fifth place.
Just before halftime, Joao Gomes, who was unmarked, scored a close-range header for Wolves to take the lead, forcing a goal from Spurs.
After the interval, though, Spurs rallied quickly, with Dejan Kulusevski tying the score shortly after the restart.
Nevertheless, Wolves maintained their danger on the counter and ultimately found the back of the net, with Gomes earning his brace thanks to an outstanding Pedro Neto assist.
Tottenham captain Heung-min Son was shown looking unhappy and even crying as he left the field in a post-match video that a fan posted on social media platform X.

Son was obviously devastated at the defeat, even though he wasn’t playing his best.
