“Excellent”: Commentator suggests an award-winning manager to take over at West Ham in the wake of Moyes’ dismissal.

Frank McAvennie believes that Graham Potter, the former manager of Brighton and Chelsea, would be a wise choice to succeed David Moyes at West Ham.

The Hammers have lost their last three games against Crystal Palace, Manchester United, and Arsenal, and it was the Gunners’ 6-0 loss that raised concerns.

According to a rumor published in The Telegraph on February 14th, Moyes may be fired if Potter doesn’t do well in the next games.

The former Hammers striker McAvennie, who only spoke to West Ham Zone, stated: “Graham Potter did brilliant at Brighton.” He is not to blame for what transpired at Chelsea.

Given that they are all first-team players, it must be difficult to deliver the speech from one player to another. You have no power over Chelsea’s player roster.

“He’d be fine [at West Ham].” Because Chelsea was going through what they are going through right now, he was unable to finish it there. There won’t be as much pressure at West Ham.

“David needs to improve his player management. They must insert something.

Potter might succeed at West Ham.

During his time at Brighton, the Englishman demonstrated his managerial prowess, and it’s not his fault Chelsea was in disarray when he joined.

In addition to winning Coach of the Year at the Swedish Sports Awards, he was selected the Sweedish Football Awards’ Manager of the Year for two consecutive seasons.

West Ham

Potter had tremendous success at Brighton and put on great performances against West Ham.

His spells at Swansea and Ostersunds were equally impressive, and he might flourish at the London Stadium with the correct setup.
