Tottenham’s ratings at halftime

Guglielmo Vicario held one shot incredibly nicely. Not much else to do. was fixed on the spot for the goal against Wolves. made a stunning injury-time save. 6.

Emerson Royal: A little careless at times. appears to be in a panic and is not fully at ease playing the possession-based style that Postecoglou desires. 4.

Cristian Romero: Made some crucial blocks and played some very lovely passes over the field. 6.

Micky van de Ven: Recovering with such assurance and comfort. has also successfully moved the ball ahead a few occasions. 6.

Ben Davies: Outperformed Nelson Semedo in a one-on-one match. Not as adept at handling Sarabia, though. 5.

Yves Bissouma: In the heart of the park, strong and sturdy. made a vital interception on a counterattack, just as Wolves were about to shoot in the box. Only needs to increase its impact and advance it to the next level in the game. 6.

Pape Matar Sarr: Like Bissouma, he had a lot of enthusiasm and a desire to move forward, but he hasn’t been able to truly make an impression in the middle of the park. 6.

James Maddison: Spurs are being frustrated by Wolves in the middle, so he hasn’t been able to exert as much control as he would like. He eventually had an opportunity to influence the game, and he played a tidy little ball into Kulusevski. 6.

Wolves Wanderers Wolverhampton

Dejan Kulusevski: If only he would attempt to whip some balls in with his right foot instead of cutting in on his left every time, Kulusevski is starting to look rather predictable. After Maddison played him in, it was a poor finish from an excellent opportunity. 5.

Richarlison: Put forth a lot of effort to press from the front and covered a lot of ground. Very little movement occurred in the box, though, and he will have to work hard to have a chance on goal in the second half. 6.

Heung-min Son: Another player that Wolves were obviously attempting to stop as much as they could, and for the most part, it was successful. Son needs to soon take something out of his magic hat because he hasn’t had much of an influence on the game thus far. 5.
