Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, has been linked to the soon-to-be vacant Liverpool position in recent days.

 

According to Sky Sports, the head coach of Spurs is “one of the names being bandied about to take over at Liverpool” at the end of the current campaign.

 

This rumor has been sparked by Postecoglou’s outstanding performances at Tottenham and other clubs, including Celtic, as well as the fact that he was formerly a “massive Liverpool fan.”

 

At Friday’s news conference, Postecoglou indicated he is only getting started at Spurs when questioned about the connections.

 

Before Saturday’s match against Wolves, the Tottenham manager remarked, “I think that is self-explanatory since I’ve only been here for seven months.”

Now, in light of Postecoglou’s connections to Anfield, Fabrizio Romano has attempted to calm any remaining Tottenham concerns.

 

The 58-year-old is “very happy” at Spurs, according to the transfer insider, who posted on CaughtOffside, and there hasn’t been any communication between the manager and other clubs.

 

“I have no information on Ange Postecoglou and Liverpool at this time,” Romano remarked, “but he addressed any rumors that he wanted to leave Tottenham and go to bed in Liverpool at his most recent press conference.”

 

He is content where he is at Tottenham, and I’m not aware of any relationships with other teams.

It doesn’t seem like a concerning issue to me because he was also heavily involved in the negotiations to persuade Lucas Bergvall to sign with Spurs, for example.

 

Positive news for supporters of the Spurs

That Postecoglou is enjoying his stay at Tottenham and has no plans to leave anytime soon is wonderful to hear.

 

The Australian has taken Spurs by storm and built them into a strong squad that appears capable of finishing in the top four this year.

 

In addition, Postecoglou has been a transfer market magician, bringing in some elite players to join the other promising young players Tottenham has signed recently.

 

Even though he is only getting started, Postecoglou is already creating something exceptional at Spurs.
