Is Moyes willing to give up on his favorites?

Is Moyes willing to let go of Soucek and Zouma?

Naturally, David Moyes is very excited about West Ham’s Premier League matchup versus Nottingham Forest. Still, the most important choice he has to make might be how to structure his defense.

Most people, I’m sure, would concur that giving up nine goals in two games is good enough justification for changing things up. It will be intriguing to observe if Moyes sticks with Kurt Zouma in light of his limited mobility. Because Forest, in my opinion, was unfortunate to lose 3-2 against Newcastle United despite looking quick and skillful.

They have a really creative player in Morgan Gibbs-White, and they have speed and talent on the wings. Taiwo Awoniyi is not only physically fit enough to pose a threat to Zouma, but he also welcomes the physical challenge. To try to defend a little higher up the pitch, I would pair Konstantinos Mavropanos with Nayef Aguerd.

Is Moyes courageous enough to choose Nottingham Forest over Kurt Zouma?

Favorite manager: Would Moyes have the guts to bench Zouma?

It’s obvious that standing our ground and inviting the opposition to attack us won’t work. Although Moyes would not concur, attacking could be the most effective strategy to keep opponents away from our objective.

Moyes has his favorites, just like every manager, but Tomas Soucek and Zouma haven’t exactly boosted the manager’s prospects of staying in charge lately. We’ll see how seriously Moyes takes the fact that he must have had a challenging week. It must be humiliating to be outwitted by his former captain at Everton, especially as Declan Rice was the driving force behind the destruction.

I want Moyes to respond, and I want things to change. It will tell us everything we need to know about the manager’s mentality if we don’t understand.
