“I’m positive”Leeds will be “rubbing their hands” for one reason, according to the Plymouth manager, ahead of Saturday.

Ian Foster, the manager of Plymouth Argyle, is getting his team ready for Saturday’s third-straight matchup with Leeds United.

Leeds and Argyle were paired to play each other in the FA Cup fourth round after Leeds defeated Argyle in the league’s rematch at Elland Road in November.

Leeds had to travel to Home Park last Tuesday in the middle of the week following a 1-1 draw at the end of January. There, they required extra time to win 4-1 and set up a tie against Chelsea.

All of the Championship clubs are quite busy at the moment, but Leeds has an extra day off because they played Plymouth last night and Swansea City on Tuesday.

Foster told the Plymouth Herald that Leeds will be “rubbing their hands” because of the extra recovery time after Argyle were forced to settle for a point against Coventry City in stoppage time yesterday.

Leeds will be “rubbing their hands,” according to Foster.

“Leeds United will be rubbing their hands,” he remarked. The previous time we saw them, they performed on a Friday night and rested the following day. They played last night, so they have one extra day of relaxation before we play them on Saturday.

They will undoubtedly notice that and assume that we are psychologically and physically exhausted, but we will be OK. Before Saturday at 12:30, we’ll make sure the players have all the help they require.

Leeds will benefit from the extra day, but Daniel Farke’s team effectively lost a day of recuperation because they had to return from South Wales. Plymouth, on the other hand, was at home.

Nevertheless, Plymouth played a far more competitive game last night than Leeds did on Tuesday, and they will be in shock after giving up an equalizer in the 96th minute. By halftime, Leeds, on the other hand, had won the match.

Argyle will also be missing Adam Forshaw and Darko Gyabi, so Leeds will be looking to capitalize on any leftover momentum from their match against Coventry.
