Director says Tottenham are “intrigued” about a cooperation and that conversations have already begun. “Can mean a lot.”

Lucas Bergvall will join Tottenham Hotspur after this season, the club said earlier this month, citing an agreement reached with Djurgårdens IF.

As part of the Bergvall arrangement, Djurgårdens sporting director Bosse Andersson disclosed two days ago that his team and Spurs share the goal of playing a friendly match in the future.

Football Sthlm had a meeting with the Swedish club’s official and he’s indicated that talks are planned with Tottenham for a new collaboration.

According to Fotbollskanalen, who are relaying Andersson’s remarks, Djurgårdens and Spurs will begin further negotiations in March.

The Swedish club is eager to begin a fresh cooperation with Tottenham, according to the director, and the friendly match won’t be the only topic of conversation.

We want to meet because we have talked about a lot of these topics. They are eager to meet us, and we will follow up with them,” he remarked.

“We have an invitation to meet in London, where we will talk about forming a collaboration. After that, we’ll see what sort of communication we can have.

According to the report, Tottenham may even loan some of its players to Djurgårdens as part of the partnership.

Andersson clarified on this subject by saying, “That could be one of the possibilities.” A partnership has many meanings.

After reaching an agreement to acquire Bergvall, the North London club appears to be concentrating more on Sweden.

Fotboll Direkt reported at the beginning of the week that Ange Postecoglou’s team is very interested in Hammarby’s Viktor Đukanović. Johan Lange, the director of Tottenham, was also said to have been keeping an eye on the 20-year-old for some time.
