In a crucial relegation match, a Leeds loanee plays just eight minutes; situation has not changed despite the January decision

Rumors circulated that a few loanees from Leeds United will be joining the team again in January.

After making few starts in the first half of the season, Luis Sinisterra was expected to finish his loan at Bournemouth early. However, things have changed dramatically since then.

Most of Bournemouth’s games are now started by Sinisterra, and they are eager to have him stay. It appears quite improbable that he will ever return to Leeds.

The second player who was supposedly making a comeback at Elland Road was Brenden Aaronson, who reportedly spoke with Daniel Farke. He was very explicit about his desire to stay and defend his position at Union Berlin.

In spite of this, he played only eight minutes yesterday night, suggesting that his circumstances have not improved despite his demonstration of dedication to the German team.

Aaronson only plays eight minutes for Union. With both teams now sitting in the bottom four of the Bundesliga, Union traveled to Mainz for a pivotal match.

Although Aaronson’s team leads Mainz by six points and a 1-1 tie is undoubtedly preferable to their opponents, the Leeds player’s contribution is still quite minimal.

With just one start since the beginning of November, the 23-year-old has not had the opportunity to demonstrate his worth as a permanent member of the team.

In the end, Leeds should be disappointed because his stock has been declining and it is unlikely that they will sell for even close to the £25 million they paid RB Salzburg.

In his nascent career, this summer represents undoubtedly a significant turning point, and it will be intriguing to observe how things play out.
