One more blow to the injuries: Gold reveals that the Tottenham star, who has four goals and nine assists, is injured.

Jamie Donley, a young player, is the most recent casualty in Tottenham’s latest round of injuries.

The 19-year-old has a hamstring problem, per Alasadir Gold of Football London. Fortunately, it’s not a critical one, so he should be back in the office by next week.

With just nine Premier League 2 games for Tottenham U21 this season, the young player has already made a big impact with four goals and nine assists.

He has made three appearances for the first team, twice in the league and once in the FA Cup, as a result of his outstanding play.

Tottenham players have been out for hamstring issues before; in fact, it has become a common occurrence.

Giovani Lo Celso, Ben Davies, Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, and others have all sustained comparable injuries this season.

Ange Postecoglou has struggled greatly with injuries this season; at one point in time, a ludicrous total of 21 players on his team had suffered ailments.

Finding the cause of the recurrent injuries, and specifically the reason for the high frequency of hamstring injuries, is now the responsibility of the medical staff in collaboration with Ange.

Premier League rivals Spurs are expected to lose another transfer target when Chelsea makes an approach for the midfield player.

After losing out to Brentford, a fellow English team, in their chase of the gifted young player Antonio Nusa, Tottenham Hotspur may now lose another target to their London rivals.

Adam Wharton of Blackburn Rovers is a midfield player, and transfer insider Dean Jones has verified Tottenham’s “genuine” interest in signing him, saying Spurs are in the lead in the race to get Wharton.

Nonetheless, it has been stated that Chelsea has joined the battle and may attempt to acquire the Spurs target prior to the January transfer window closing.

Journalist Alan Nixon reports on his Patreon that Chelsea, along with Tottenham and Crystal Palace, have chosen to pursue Wharton. Paul Winstanley, Chelsea’s sports director, has been sent to watch the midfield player in person in order to make a possible bid.

A bid of £19 million from Crystal Palace for the defensive midfield player, who is estimated to be worth £25 million, was earlier turned down by Blackburn.

The December contract extension gave the England U20 international a June 2028 commitment to the team.

With 26 appearances and two goals and three assists in his career, the 19-year-old has been a consistent starter for Blackburn.

Known for his accurate passing, Wharton now sits third in the Championship season’s through balls rankings, per Fbref.

TBH Opinion:

Fans will be even more dissatisfied if another gifted midfield player is permitted to join their Premier League opponents, as they were not pleased with the club for letting Brentford get Antonio Nusa.
