Cristian Romero now responds to Tottenham’s news before of Man City’s match.

James Maddison’s return to Tottenham Hotspur is fantastic news, and Cristian Romero is ecstatic about it.

This season, injuries haven’t gone well for the Spurs, have they? Throughout the campaign, they have been without several of their main players, Maddison being the most likely casualty. He’s back now for tonight’s match against Manchester City.

Following James Maddison’s return to Tottenham training, Cristian Romero responds. James Maddison hasn’t played for Tottenham since their November loss to Chelsea.

At first, the Englishman’s ankle injury was not considered to be serious. But following a scan, Spurs’ worst nightmares materialized, and he hasn’t played since.

Earlier this week, Madison resumed full training with the team, and Ange Postecoglou stated at his press conference yesterday that the playmaker is ready to go.

For Spurs supporters, that is fantastic news, and vice captain Cristian Romero seemed happy that his partner is back in shape.

Prior to tonight’s crucial matchup with Manchester City, Maddison shared a photo of Romero and himself on Instagram Stories with the caption, “Matchday – 1.”

“Topmadd back!” the Argentine commented as he reshared that on his own Instagram Story.

The return of Maddison is a major plus for Spurs.

Tonight’s FA Cup match between Tottenham and Manchester City is huge.

Spurs are eager to break their trophy drought, and their best opportunity of taking home a trophy this year comes in the FA Cup.

Although Spurs have an amazing record versus the champs, particularly at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Manchester City is always a formidable opponent.

Ange Postecoglou will be hoping that tonight’s success holds true, as James Maddison’s comeback is a huge plus for them. Spurs have a chance to eliminate City if he plays well.
